But then a burning smell, a sudden recall—

The kitchen's alarm, a trigger to reality.

Legs sprinted to action, to cease the heat of the stove.

The occipital lobe deciphered the charred food remains.

Dinner in despair, a victim of distraction's sway.

The brain, a slave to the digital way,

A prisoner of dopamine, lost in the euphoria—

A burnt dinner and a rotting brain.

The brain is deceived by digital dopamine.
