The soft musics plays in the hall, becomes clear, clearer and clearest. Manju!!! Oye Manju!! The little gorgeous girl with the colour of the sweetest chocolate, smile forever beautiful that Manju has ever seen her life, her pony tied beautifully with a yellow butterfly band running towards her in a navy blue skirt and a peach top with a small lolli in her hands runs towards Manju and jumps onto her lap…..

Suddenly the whole conversation of both blurred away and a bright light swifts on to her eyes..Dhammm!!!! The head hits hardly on the door, eyes opened and all of a sudden a white wall projected to her face, the only colour she could see was of her tablets and capsules in blue and red…

She takes the shaky steps to the window, takes her blanket and tied herself to the rusty iron bars of the window, she doesn’t want to be hurt again physically, says the billionth scars on her forehead. Now that was all her levels of slavery that her mind puts to her body…

The doors open wide and a lady in her 50s walks slowly inside with a smile, Manju??? What have you done to yourself… Why are you tied up??? Rani the caretaker of the special home questions in concern and pain and with a shaky hands and an exhaustive face Manju points to her scars on the forehead. Rani did not want to untie her because the only thing Manju has said Yes in agreement was to death and death alone….

Hopelessness…. A deadly fearful disease had already taken over her soul.

Manju has a special condition, She gets lost from her consciousness at times and her body goes completely out of control, the nervous system completely collapses and she gets backs her consciousness on collision to floor, walls or doors damaging her face and head and that was the scars about…

Now placing the food near her Rani slowly pats on her head and fades off the room. Resting the head on the windows she keeps looking for something on that busy street down the window

The guitar strings, A white t shirt, blue jeans and a dusty loafers and a beautiful voice singing out with a lot of passion. Not a conventionally handsome guy…. Well to put in words, Dark and obese – which probably would not make an attractive appearance to most of the indian household

Well, thats Ashok….

Ashok indulges in his musical feast. But for some reason his eyes runs to the third floor of the special home and there is the most beautiful lady by the windows watching the most handsome guy in the universe of Pain and Music….

Ashok feels like a sight that he hasn’t seen since an eternity – Yes that Sight was Manju.

He smiles with a lot of love, hope thinking that she would smile back at him, now everything is silenced, he cannot even hear his strings making the most beautitful music, all he could hear is his heart beat and finally Yessss!!!! Manju, delivers a very sweet and subtle smile, that was the first time in decades she was experiencing the the much blissful experience – being loved by someone.

(The following conversation happens in hand gestures)

Ashok: What happened to your forehead?

Manju: (Helpless and slightly teary eyes shows the window doors) hit on the windows and fell..

Ashok: (With a look of concern) Don’t worry that scars never beats your beauty…

Manju : Thanks(with the most beautiful smile)

Ashok: Did you eat something??

Manju : No…

Ashok: (proceeds to the shop just by and gets a sandwich) How will I give it to you???

Manju: (Grabs some clothes nearby and ties it up to make like a string and drops its one end down) May be this would help…

Ashok: Cool(He proceeds to tie the sandwich to the other end of the cloth)

Now manju takes the food upward and now displays a thankful smile. Days and days passed by and Rani notices a sandwich everyday on Manju’s table, well nothing was to be explained, Rani without complaints being absolutely happy for Manju stops bringing her breakfast… A gesture well admired…

One fine day Ashok gathers all the courage in the world decides to meet Manju in person, and he gets to the door of the care home and Rani very swiftly spots the Hero of the century and welcomes him and very happily escorts him to Manju’s Room. The door widely opens and Manju keeps looking for Ashok, did the poor soul know the man who lit the candle of hope is just near by, Ashok now proceed to strike the strings of the guitar to announce his arrival to his sweet love, Manju quickly turns to him in surprise and Smile, laugh and tears projects from her..

Ashok watches in lot of pain that the most loved person in his whole life is just tied up like a slave, He quickly looks at Rani and she explains the whole scenario. Ashok proceeds to walk upto Manju and moves the guitar and sits by her legs. Her condition was the first thing and the last thing he cared because its very important to him and at the same time its never as important for him to let her go…

Ashok leaves for the day and he was ever since the most frequent visitor of the care home, every day he sings for the streets, gets a sandwich for the important person in the planet for him and sits by her side. The day next he walks to Manju and tries remove the cloth she tied upto windows but Manju says ‘ Please don’t I can’t take the pain anymore…. Ashok proceeds to forcefully remove the handcuffed cloth and says “Well now you won’t need one until I die.’ And Manju smiles in agreement. Every bits of Manjus life gets better and better, and that day Ashok seeks a room next to Manju’s Room to Rani and she was all set with a room next to Manju. Ashok sleeps through the night and suddenly he hears sounds of Manju’s condition striking back and hitting the walls, he runs with all his strength and life and opens the door and with a lot of passion and love tightly hugs her to bring her back in control and he will leave back to sleep only after ensuring that she is completely fine and this goes as a routing for a week, every day the time span of her condition striking back decreases every minute and the day comes where her medical condition is nothing less than a myth and no more a reality.

Everything blurred up and now fast tracking to 2 years, in a small house by the country side:

The soft musics plays in the hall, becomes clear, clearer and clearest. Manju!!! Oye Manju!! The little gorgeous girl with the colour of the sweetest chocolate, smile forever beautiful that Manju has ever seen her life, her pony tied beautifully with a yellow butterfly band running towards her in a navy blue skirt and a peach top with a small lolli in her hands runs towards Manju and jumps onto her lap…..

She picks up Vega and says “ Sweetie, That’s how your dad healed Mummy”
